Established in 2001 Firebrand is a full-service, worldwide artist services company with offices in the UK and USA. We specialize in design, production, product development, licensing, logistics, client service and understanding content, brands and fans. We operate in four main channels of business: : live-events, touring, e-commerce/D2C and retail.
The team
The three founders still work at Firebrand and are committed to upholding their original vision for establishing the company. Our team is comprised of experienced merchandising vets, rabid musicfans, strong commercial thinkers, and hard-working, dedicated employees. We like to think outside the box, are up to date on currents trends in media and fashion and go the extra mile, on duty 24×7 in peak periods, reacting to the unexpected like weather, digital traffic and brand events.
Global Reach
With offices in East London and Los Angeles, we have a physical presence in two of the world’s biggest markets to make sure our clients are taken care of and service is not interrupted going from one territory to the next. We have a highly effective global network of distributors, wholesalers, retailers, sub-licensors, vendors and business partners to serve our clients and their fans wherever they are.
Our clients
We partner with bands, brands, entertainment companies and properties across the world who are passionate about what they do to deliver quality merchandise that is on the same level as the art they create. We work with Artists at all stages of their career from global superstars to unsigned, up-and-coming hopefuls of tomorrow. We also work with festival promoters, management companies and record labels. We tailor our solutions to each individual client based on their specific needs and never take the same approach twice.

Ruth Blakemore – CEO
CEO and shareholder. Worked at board level for brands like Virgin, in markets as diverse as advertising, telecomms, travel and banking. Always a different sector, and always when there is a big opportunity because the market is shifting. “With recording revenues shrinking, and digital activity speeding up the sampling of artists, the place where online meets live performance is a pretty interesting place to be right now”.
Danny Oakes – Director
Co-founder and shareholder. With a solid knowledge of all aspects of design and production, Danny has a strong track record of building and keeping business from recognising opportunity at the outset to delivery at the front line.
David Bell – Director
Co-founder and shareholder. Based in London and Dublin, David is heavily involved with many long term major clients and is the go-to team member for global and local music news.
Justin Smith – Operations Director
Co-founder and shareholder. Turns designs and ideas into real stuff. Makes it all happen. Justin is a veteran of `the Road`, a mathematics graduate and a font of all merchandising knowledge with the scars to show for it.
Charles Hall – Finance Director FCCA
With 10 years under his belt as a chartered certified accountant, Charles has diverse experience from audit and recruitment to large scale payroll services. He has worked in UK and global businesses, and, as well as the numbers bit, drives efficiencies to improve performance for us and our clients
Lucy Salisbury – Licensing & Retail Director
Having cut her teeth at The Ministry of Sound, Lucy heads up many of our growing revenue streams, including massive growth in retail, the introduction of new products like Green Screen photography and other 3rd party licensing opportunities
Tom Welsh – Digital Director
